He completed two fellowships – Cardiology and Non-invasive Cardiology. Dr. Umer is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, sub-specializing in cardiovascular disease. He is also certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Umer is a diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiology and a fellow of American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
